I have found that rain and fog can be your best friend when it comes to many different types of photography. The best time I find to go out and shoot is early in the morning when there is a light mist in the air.
An AhHa momemnt I had when reading a book on photography.,. is that you do not have to wait for rain.. a spray bottle from the dollar store.. and you have instant rain.. :)

I love lines, rain, and shadow effects on these leaves. Taking photos of rain drops on leaves is my new favorite thing. Great photo!
